Without the return of the product, no definitive conclusion can be made regarding the clinical observation.(b)(4).
 
Event Description
Medtronic received information that during the implant of this 22 millimeter diameter mechanical aortic valve, this valve was explanted and replaced with a 20 millimeter diameter mechanical valve because this valve would not seat properly due to a tight and calcified native annulus.No adverse patient effects were reported.
