(b)(4).Physio-control evaluated the customer's device and verified the reported issue.Physio replaced the device's therapy connector assembly and completed other, unrelated, repairs. After observing proper device operation through functional and performance testing the unit was returned to the customer for use.Physio further examined the removed therapy connector assembly and confirmed that a broken pin was stuck in the connector. As a result, another quik-combo therapy cable could not be connected to the device. It was later confirmed by the customer, a biomedical engineer, that the damaged quik-combo therapy cable was disposed of on-site and therefore not available for further examination by physio-control.
