Event Description
Information received via the healthcare professional from a clinical study reported the patient experienced right implantable neurostimulator (ins) incision opening.The patient indicated the right chest wall ins was protruding under the skin and had "pinholes" at the incision site, causing drainage.Diagnostic included surgical observation performed (b)(6) 2016.Right ins incision revision surgery was performed the same day of surgical observation and medications (iv antibiotics via picc line) were administered.Etiology was reported as related to the device or therapy and not related to the implant procedure.The outcome was resolved without sequelae the day of revision.The patient's indication for use was dystonia and movement disorders.
