It was reported from the patient's mother that he was experiencing a change in seizure pattern.He started having daytime seizures and he normally only had nocturnal seizures.The patient was referred for prophylactic full revision surgery to receive a new generator.Surgery has not occurred to date.No additional relevant information has been received to date.
 
Event Description
Generator replacement surgery occurred, reported due to battery depletion.The explant facility does not return devices to the manufacturer per policy.
