Device evaluation showed that the suspect device is defective.The reported trajectory deviation correlates with the observed trajectory deviation during the device evaluation.Further investigation is being conducted to determine the root cause.Corrective action will be taken once the root cause is identified.
 
Event Description
After performing a dental implant surgery using a surgical guide, doctor saw in the post-op scan that the trajectory of the implant #4 was too buccal and the apex of the implant was perforating the buccal bone.
