Per bard medical services and support, the nurse reported she was feeding her patient with a bard balloon style feeding tube. The tube split at the bifurcation section and some water had come out, but not all. They tried to inflate/deflate again, but were unable to do this with a syringe.Ms&s explained the balloon is not under pressure. The nurse stated she was able to very gently pull the tube and the water drained from the lumen. No other information was provided. No harm to the patient was reported.
