No patient information provided as no patient was involved in this concern.A medtronic representative went to site to test the equipment.Representative reported that fuses were replaced and replaced power conversion due to lack of 96v power for motion.A system checkout was performed and the hardware, software, and instruments passed the system checkout.The system was found to be fully functional.The suspect power conversion has been received by manufacturer for evaluation but results are not yet available.The suspect fuses have not been received by manufacturer for evaluation.
 
Event Description
A medtronic representative reported that while outside of procedure the image acquisition system (ias) of the imaging system would not turn when pressing on switch but mobile view station (mvs) turned on.Representative mentioned that battery indicator lights were full.Disconnecting the umbilical cable did not resolve the issue.There was no patient present at the time of issue.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
The enclosure power conversion was returned to the manufacturer for analysis.Analysis found that the power conversion assembly failed its functional test.The transistors were found to have shorted.There was an electrical issue identified.
