It was reported that following an ablation procedure, the patient presented to the emergency room for groin pain and tender lymph nodes.An ultrasound confirmed lymphadenopathy, and medication was administered.Groin pain persisted, the patient was admitted, and computerized tomography (ct) was performed confirming a pseudoaneurysm.A thrombin injection was given.The hospital stay was extended.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.Additional information reported that the patient w ent to the emergency room at a later date for increased leg pain and numbness.Ct angiography suggested that the pseudoaneurysm was not worsening.The patient was given pain medications and not admitted.Furthermore, there was a slight increase in the amount of edema in the left groin area.
