No patient information provided as no patient was involved in this concern.A medtronic representative inspected the imaging system onsite and confirmed the issue.The cause was a result of the mobile view station (mvs) computer failing, lost bios settings, and no display at boot up.The mvs computer was replaced and the issue resolved.A full imaging system check-out was completed following part replacement and all tests passed.Full system functionality was confirmed and the system was returned to service.The suspect computer has been returned to the manufacturer for evaluation, however results are not available at this time.
 
Event Description
A site representative reported that, while outside of a procedure the imaging system was unable to boot.It was reported that the system would get stuck in the booting process (black screen), right before the system screen would display.The representative unplugged and re-plugged in the monitor cables and rebooted the system without resolution.There was no patient present when this issue was observed.No additional information was provided.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
The computer for the imaging system was returned to the manufacturer for analysis.Analysis was unable to confirm reported problem.The computer passed all testing and no unexpected application exits occurred while under testing.The computer functioned as designed.
