Patient information was unavailable from the site.A medtronic representative went to the site to test the equipment.The representative was unable to replicate the reported issue.The imaging system then passed the system checkout and was found to be fully functional.The logs for the imaging system were reviewed by medtronic personnel.The software investigation found that the reported event was related to a software issue.This issue was documented in a medtronic navigation software anomaly tracking database.
 
Event Description
A manufacturer representative reported that, while in a spinal fusion, the imaging system displayed a message stating the user to restarting the application software.It was reported that the imaging system became unresponsive when the user attempted to restart the imaging system.The imaging system was disconnected from the outlet, powered down by draining the batteries and re-starting the imaging system restored functionality.There was a reported delay to the procedure of five minutes due to this issue.There was no reported impact on patient outcome.No additional information was provided.
