The customer stated that repeat testing was performed to confirm correct results.Investigation has been completed: the na+ sensor has been exposed to quarternary ammonium compounds (ex.Benzalkonium) daily since the cartridge was installed.This resulted in numerous "sodium sensor interferrent detected" messages in the event logs and calibration failures during the period of data on the rp 500 sn (b)(4) from 7/23/2018 - 7/26/2018.Per the rp 500 operators manual, these compounds are known interferences to the rp 500 na sensor and should be avoided.
 
Event Description
The customer reported discrepant results for sodium between three rp 500 analyzers.There is no injury reported due to this event.
