It was reported that during a cryoablation procedure, after ablating the right inferior pulmonary vein (ripv) with the balloon catheter, the patient experienced hemoptysis.Protamine was subsequently administered, and the patient's hemoptysis improved.The case was completed with cryo.A computed tomography (ct) scan was performed, and it was noted that bleeding was suspected to have occurred near the right inferior lung.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

Product event summary: the data files were returned and analyzed.The data files showed eleven applications were performed with balloon catheter 2af283, with lot number 60151 with no issues.Additionally, the data files showed eight applications with electrophysiology (ep) catheter 239f5, with lot number 59485 with no issues.It was reported that the patient experienced hemoptysis and bleeding was suspected to have occurred near the right inferior lung.The balloon catheter 2af283, with lot number 60151 was not returned for investigation.In conclusion, this is a case related to a clinical adverse event.The reported adverse event could not be related to the to the performance of the cryo ablation devices.If information is provided in the future, a supplemental report will be issued.
