It was reported patient underwent hi prevision approximately 8 years post implantation due to pain, limitations in mobility, elevated metal ion levels, metal poisoning, metallosis, bone destruction and tissue damage.Revision surgeon noted abundant fluid consistent with metallosis.Attempts have been made and additional information on the reported event is unavailable at this time.
