Event Description
Boston scientific received information that the left ventricular (lv) lead was surgically abandoned due to an unspecified product performance issue.Additional information indicated that the lv lead exhibited high pacing threshold and caused muscle stimulation.Moreover, diaphragmatic stimulation was noted since implant and threshold rose over time.A new lead was then implanted.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
