Event Description
It was reported that, approximately one week post implant, the implantable cardiac monitor (icm) patient experienced an allergic reaction to the device with symptoms described as facial flushing, reddened and blistered soles of feet, nausea and dizziness.Explant of the device was planned.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
