Event Description
Information was received from a manufacturing representative (rep) regarding a pump that was to be implanted at a replacement procedure on (b)(6) 2019.No patient involvement was indicated. The rep reported they could not establish telemetry with the new pump using the clinician programmer tablet and therapy application, software version 1.0.7493.The rep tried eliminating and moving away from potential sources of interference. The tablet had just worked on the patient's old pump. The rep did not have another tablet to try using. The rep obtained a back-up pump and was able to establish telemetry with the device.Troubleshooting resolved the reported issue. The rep was able to complete programming with the back-up pump. The rep planned to send the affected pump back for analysis. The rep was currently in the operating room and was unable to provide any additional information. No further complications were reported or anticipated.Additional information was received from the manufacturing representative (rep). The rep reported they had the pump and they were sending the device back to the manufacturer for analysis.
