Event Description
The patient¿s attorney alleged a deficiency against the device.The product was used for therapeutic treatment of pelvic organ prolapse.It was reported that after implant, the patient experienced pain, mesh erosion, infections, constant pelvic and abdominal pain, incontinence, dyspareunia, pelvic pressure, bowel problems, discomfort, exposed mesh, blood in urine, frequent utis, injury, disability, cystocele, enterocele, vaginal vault prolapse and impairment.Post-operative patient treatment included some degree of mesh removal, doctor visits, hospitalization/er and use of cream for vaginal dryness.
