The patient reported the aligners popped off and choking them.It is unknown if the patient required medical intervention due to the event.It is unknown if the patient took or was prescribed any medication due to the event.It is unknown if the patient is still wearing aligners or how the patient is currently doing.The treating doctor shared that the potential root cause of the event could have been fitting issues, and believes the patient was scared of choking (instead of choking).
