|
Physician used a venaseal kit to treat the patient¿s great saphenous vein (gsv).Ifu was followed.It is reported that the patient complained of pain 3 days post op.Redness was seen 6 days post implant and open abscess were observed 13 days post op in the treated area.The patient currently has open blisters and sores mid-thigh directly above the gsv (treated vein).Keflex, medrol dose pack and iv bactrim were prescribed.Patient seen in er approximately 3 weeks after procedure and was discharged home with bactrim.The patient due a follow up consultation with the wound care team.
