Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare provider (hcp) regarding a patient's implantable neurostimulator (ins) for dystonia and movement disorders. It was reported that the patient's therapy was turning on by itself. The hcp stated that it was confirmed both stimulators were off before patient got into an mri machine but then patient suspected that one of the stimulators was somehow turned back on because their arm stopped shaking. The hcp then checked the status of the left ins, and stimulation was turned on.The caller was wondering if both stimulators could be off at the same time.It was unknown if mri scan had started before the patient felt their arm stop shaking.During the call, the hcp confirmed that both stimulators were now off.
