Event Description
The initial reporter stated they received discrepant results for one patient sample tested with elecsys hiv combi pt on a cobas 6000 e 601 module.No incorrect results were reported outside of the laboratory.The sample was tested three times on the e 601 analyzer, resulting with values of 0.021 coi (non-reactive), 0.007 coi (non-reactive), and 0.012 coi (non-reactive).The sample was repeated using an unknown competitor method, resulting with a value of 7.7 coi (reactive).The serial number of the e 601 analyzer is (b)(4).
