Drug Quality Reporting System (DQRS)

The Drug Quality Reporting System (DQRS) provides consumers and healthcare professionals with a mechanism to report marketed drug quality problems. DQRS helps protect public health by identifying product quality issues that require corrective action, including identifying significant health hazards from individual product problems and detecting both industry- and firm-specific problems. Drug quality reports are also used to identify industry trends associated with pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging and labeling. Information from these reports is shared with the U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) to enhance compendial standards for drug products.
