Event Description
Medtronic received information that during the implant of this aortic valve, obstruction of the coronary ostium occurred.A coronary bypass was performed.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.

Additional information was received that the valve implanted was a 20mm aortic mechanical valve.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.

Additional information was received information that the health care professional (hcp) felt the obstruction was felt to be due to patient's very small anatomy, a consequence of ostium obstruction the right ventricule was not pumping; a right coronary bypass with saphenous vein was performed, pumping recovered without any further incidents.It was also stated that the chosen 20mm valve was still to big for the patients anatomy, but that there was no a smaller valve available.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
