An abbott field service representative (fsr) was dispatched to the account.During inspection of the analyzer, the fsr found the clogged and obstructed sample probe [part 01g48-03] and replaced the part.The analyzer was returned to normal operation.Evaluation of the customer issue included complaint text review, a search for similar complaints, a labeling review, an instrument service review, and a field data review.No returns were made available from the customer site for this evaluation.No adverse trend was identified for the customer issue.Labeling was reviewed and found to be adequate.The issue was resolved by replacing the sample probe [part 01g48-03].Service history review identified no contributing factors to the customer issue.Field data review did not show any trends for clinical chemistry erratic result rates during a 12 month period.Based on all available information and abbott diagnostics evaluation, no systemic issue was identified and no product deficiency was found.
