According to the reporter, the capsule calibrated normally and paired with the monitor, however, when the capsule was placed and when they tried to set the monitor to start recording, it would no longer pair with the capsule.The customer called customer support who had them test some different settings.It was then determined that the capsule was not working.The physician spoke and explained the situation to the patient.Due to the risks trying to remove the capsule that was placed, the patient did not want to attempt to have another capsule placed.The patient decided to follow-up with the physician before placing another capsule to check if it was necessary for their care and treatment.There was no reported patient outcome.
