The customer contacted technical support (ts) stating that the unit would not go into standby mode.The customer reported there was no patient involvement at the time the issue was discovered.

G4: 03jan2021.B4: 19jan2021.The manufacturer's product service engineer (pse) was dispatched to the site to evaluate the unit and confirmed that the flow sensor was defective.The pse replaced the flow sensor assembly, air & o2.The ventilator passed all testing and operated within the manufacturing specifications.Submission of a report does not constitute an admission that medical personnel, user facility, importer, distributor, manufacturer, or product caused or contributed to the event.
