Event Description
Medtronic received information regarding a navigation system.It was reported outside of a procedure that the computer hangs up while loading the images.With a forced shutdown and start-up, it is approachable again.This issue has happened twice in a row.Troubleshooting was performed and the manufacturer representative checked if the issue was reproducible.They also checked the network connection.No patient was present at the time of the event.
 
Event Description
Additional information has been received.The complaint did not involve a medtronic navigation system.The notification date has been updated to reflect the correct information as well.Additional information was received stating that the manufacturer representative went to the site and found out that the issue concerned a totally different system; and not the navigation system.Internal communication between the site and technical staff caused a misunderstanding.The navigation system was working as intended no issue were present.It was also confirmed that the rep did not find out about the reported issue until 03 august 2020.
