Event Description
|
It was reported that the implantable pulse generator (ipg) exhibited rapid battery depletion due to emergency setting.It was also reported that the emergency setting was accidently programmed.The ipg parameters were programmed back to previous settings and the battery voltage has subsequently increased.The ipg remains in use.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

It was further reported that the patient experienced dyspnea, was uncomfortable sleeping at night and had stated that the implantable pulse generator (ipg) was making a beeping or tapping sound.
