Event Description
Patient had 62cm of the great saphenous vein (gsv) treated with venaseal.The procedure was completed as per ifu.Given the patient¿s known allergies, this was discussed prior to carrying out procedure.No procedural issues reported.11 days post procedure the reported symptoms of itching, tightness, pink/red over vein area in the thigh that was treated.The patient was recommended to take benadryl and triamcinolone cream.The patient returned to the physician¿s office 1 day later (12 days post procedure) and was prescribed a medrol dose pack.No further injury reported.
