Philips has investigated this complaint.Philips has collected additional information.According to it, the system was not in clinical use when the reported problem occurred.Philips has also confirmed that the z-rotation cover did not fall down but was only detached.The cover was detached due to a collision with a surgical light.A philips service engineer reseated the l-arm cover and the system was returned to use in good working order.Submission of a report does not constitute an admission that medical personnel, user facility, importer, distributor, manufacturer, or product caused or contributed to the event.
