Information was received from a consumer regarding a patient with an implanted neurostimulator (ins) for urinary dysfunction/sacral nerve stimulation and gastrointestinal /pelvic floor therapy. It was reported the rep brought the patient on the line who is experiencing an error code 1707 on the recharge app.Reviewed to adjust recharger directly over the skin to maintain charge.Patient reports pocket was still swollen, and has appointment tomorrow, oct.9th, with managing hcp (healthcare professional) and the rep will be there.Rep reported patient has charged successfully since implant and prior to today without this issue.Troubleshooting resolved the 1707 code issue. While troubleshooting the recharging issue the patient reported that when they place the recharger over the ins they receive a shocking, electrical or bee sting sensation in a certain spot over the ins.Patient reported that when using the recharger with the belt they felt it slightly, but when directly over the skin they feel it is stronger.Patient does not feel this sensation when no longer recharging. It was discussed with the rep to have hcp assess the issue tomorrow during patient follow-up appointment.
