Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare professional (hcp) regarding a patient in a clinical study (sdy) who was implanted with a neurostimulator (ins) for urinary dysfunction/sacral nerve stim and gastrointestinal/pelvic floor therapy.It was reported that the patient had minimal initial improvement in symptoms post-implant followed by symptoms then returning to baseline and tingling in toes.The etiology was said to be related to the device and unlikely to the procedure.It was said to be due to programming and stimulation.The actions taken were the device was reprogrammed multiple times and ultimately the system was explanted and not replaced.The issue was confirmed resolved.
