Event Description
The customer reports that the mx40 has a "speaker malfunction" inop/ error code but was unable to confirm local audio.The device was in use on a patient.There was no report of patient or user harm.

H10: the actual device was returned to philips bench where the technician found the mx40 telemetry device had working audio.The device was updated to the latest manufacturing process, with all testing passing per specifications.The device was returned to the customer.Submission of a report does not constitute an admission that medical personnel, user facility, importer, distributor, manufacturer, or product caused or contributed to the event.
