Manufacturer Narrative
|
The customer's report of "unable to pace/adjust pacer current" was observed during review of the device activity logs. However, the device was put through extensive testing including bench handling and pacer functional stress testing without duplicating the report. The pace/defib engine (processor/bridge/pace and ecg boards) was replaced as a precaution. The customer's report of "reset itself" was not replicated or confirmed.Review of the device activity logs found no evidence of a reset or inappropriate power off event. This report was unsubstantiated. The electrode pads used were not returned as part of this investigation.Analysis of reports of this type has not identified an increase in trend.
