Event Description
The literature publication reported the following patient complications during a cryoablation procedure: 19 patients developed hematomas, six (6) patients experienced phrenic nerve palsy (pnp), five (5) patients experienced transient ischemic attack (tia), one (1) patient developed chronic heart failure, three (3) patients developed pericardial effusions, three (3) patients developed pericarditis, and one (1) patient experienced an unlisted complication.The status of the catheters is unknown.Follow up is being conducted for additional information on the catheters.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
