Siemens has completed an investigation of the reported event.The root cause was determined to be a software error.The detailed investigation showed that the problem was due to a software error.This caused temporary problems with patient registration on site, but this was resolved by restarting the system.The above is an issue for which a corrective action already exists.The corresponding software update is sw update vc12m patch 2 (ax022/19/p) and is already available.According to our records, the required patch has been applied on site.Since then, the error has not been reported again.After detailed investigation, the incident is not classified as a reportable event as neither serious injury, death nor an unexpected, prolonged hospitalization of the patient or any other person occurred or could be expected.
