Event Description
|
Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for urinary dysfunction/sacral nerve stim and gastrointestinal/ pelvic floor.It was reported that they noticed their stimulator is off while charging the implant last night and the last few times.Patient services (ps) reviewed information and patient said that due to unrelated health issue they have been having doppler ultrasound tests, and the last test was about (b)(6). since then they have been using more pads and doing more kegel exercises to address the return of symptoms. with instruction patient was able to connect to implant, turned therapy on and feel stimulation.With instruction patient check battery levels and said that implant is at 100%.Patient plans to monitor symptoms now that stimulation is on and also to check battery status after any additional doppler tests and turn stimulation on if needed.

Additional information was received from the patient who said they did not know stim was off for the doppler scan and they called and turned stim back on.
