The customer reported to olympus technical assistance center (tac), power was lost to the endoscope reprocessor.The customer later clarified, the power loss reported was from a power outage that had occurred at the facility.During the power outage, the machine would not drain.When the power was restored, it still would not drain, even after performing the air purge.It only started to drain after the ¿tub¿ was refilled.All scopes that were being reprocessed at the time of the event, were fully reprocessed before being used.There were no reports of patient harm associated with this event.
