A medtronic representative went to the site to test the equipment.Testing revealed that the umbilical cable and batteries were replaced.The imaging system then passed the system checkout and was found to be fully functional.Other relevant device(s) are: product id: b i71000475, serial/lot #: unk.Product id: bi71000165, serial/lot #: unk.If information is provided in the future, a supplemental report will be issued.
 
Event Description
Medtronic received information regarding an imaging system.It was reported outside of a procedure that the image acquisition system (ias) does not boot.The ias does not get electricity from the mobile view station (mvs).All batteries were empty.Troubleshooting was performed and the mvs power board fuses were checked and they were okay.The umbilical cord orientation seems not okay.The next step was to replace the umbilical cord.No patient was present at the time of the event.Additional information was received.It was reported that depleted battery levels prevented the imaging system being powered on.
