Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for urinary dysfunction/sacral nerve stimulation and gastrointestinal/pelvic floor. It was reported that patient had a mri on (b)(6) 2022.Patient said they did the whole spine at once and only took the patient out for a few seconds.Patient said when they came out of the mri and went to turn stim on there was a message saying something about the patient being in the mri too long.Patient wanted to know if the hcp will be able to see that message at their appointment tomorrow.Reviewed a message like that doesn't exist but hcp can check the device.Patient said since the mri they have been having problems and feeling strong pulsating.Patient called the manufacturer representative (rep) who recommended they turn stim down.Patient said for the last 3 weeks they have had a harder time urinating and a harder time having a bowel movement.Patient said the hcp said the device would make everything better and it is making everything worse. The patient was redirected to their healthcare provider to further address the issue.
