Event Description
Information was received from healthcare provider (hcp) via a manufacturer representative regarding a patient having spinal therapy for lumbar spinal stenosis.It was reported that after the retractor was placed in the surgical field, fixation was performed using the lever of the flexible arm, but fixation was not possible.There is no other choice since the arm cannot be fixated so the assistant physician held down the retractor by hand and the procedure was performed while protecting the arm shaft by using a gauze between the patient and the arm so that it would not come into direct contact with the patient. product will be returned.There were no patient symptoms or complications reported as a result of this event.
