Event Description
Information was received from a manufacturer representative regarding a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for non-malignant pain, crps, and spinal pain indications.The reason for call was to report the event.The caller stated that the patient had a lead migration.The leads moved down to t12, dr.(b)(6)determined that they were going to replace the lead.The rep indicated that the md did not want to reposition the lead even though there was not problem with the impedances.The md placed only one lead because the md was not able to successfully move a second lead to the correct location.  the caller stated that the leads that were explanted were discarded, the caller stated that there was nothing wrong with the leads.The patient weight was 198lbs troubleshooting was not required.The issue was not resolved through troubleshooting.Tss collected details to report the event.
