Event Description
Medtronic received information regarding an imaging system being used during a spinal procedure.It was reported that they were able to take 2d scans normally.However, when they attempted to take a 3d spin, the images appeared white and an "internal battery failure" message displayed in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.They brought in the other system to complete the case.There was no reported delay to the procedure due to this issue.There was no reported impact on patient outcome.
