The customer¿s biomed reported the brake latch on one of the caster wheels was broken off.He was unaware what instigated the brake latch to break. The issue was identified outside of patient use and there were no reports of patient or user harm or injury.Technical support provided remote assistance to the customer. The remote support engineer (rse) confirmed the reported issue. The facility had a spare caster wheel in stock; however, was not aware of the need of a special tool (wrench) to replace the wheel. The (rse) provided the part number for the wrench. The wrench was received, the caster wheel successfully replaced and the v60 is currently back in service. The replaced caster wheel was discarded at the facility.
