Event Description
It was reported that during the leadless implantable pulse generator (ipg) implant procedure, it was not possible to guide the introducer over the guidewire.The patient's blood pressure decreased and resuscitation was required. no further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
 
Event Description
It was further reported that the patient had thrombi in the femoral vein.The thrombi were released by the introducer and migrated to the lungs, causing the patient to develop a pulmonary embolism.The leadless ipg implant procedure was aborted and the patient received a conventional ipg with epicardial leads on the same day.
