Event Description
According to the reporter, during procedure, while the surgeon was suturing the small blood vessel of the patient, the suture and needle bent and broke.Re-puncturing and suturing were needed for the blood vessel.The device could be used normally after it was replaced with the same lot of new consumables and the issue was resolved.

According to the reporter, during a plastic surgery, while the surgeon was suturing the small blood vessel of the patient, the suture and needle bent and broke.The head nurse in the operating room confirmed that the body of the suture was also broken.Re-puncturing and suturing were needed for the blood vessel.The device could be used normally after it was replaced with the same lot of new consumables and the issue was resolved.It was noted that injury was not caused by a broken needle or suture.
