Event Description
This report is based on information provided by philips remote service personnel and is being investigated by the philips complaint handling team.Philips received a complaint on the v60 ventilator indicating that while not in therapeutic use, there was an error code: ¿100b watchdog test failed¿.The remote service engineer (rse) stated that the customer reported a 100b error code displayed and that the watchdog test had failed.The time was not strobed as expected.The customer was instructed to replace the cpu board first and restore the serial number on it, and then replace the mc pcba and flow sensor assembly if needed.The rse provided replace part information for the cpu board.The ordered part is on backorder and the repair for this unit cannot be conducted at this time.The material has already been requested and an order for the part(s) was placed to conduct the repair of this unit.The material ordered central processing unit (cpu) board aligns with the recommended repair of the reported malfunction per the service manual.When the parts become available the repairs will be conducted.If new information is received and suggest that the device has additional malfunctions, the record will be reopened, and an investigation will be performed.
