Event Description
|
A venaseal closure system was used to treat the great saphenous vein (gsv) and the short saphenous vein (ssv).Right gsv 30 cm, 1.0cc.Left gsv 40 cm , 1.3cc, treated 1 day after the right.The left ssv 11 cm , 0.4 cc one day later.Three segments were treated and the vein closed.The ifu was followed.The lumen was flushed prior to use.Approximately 2 weeks post treatment the patient presented with a rash and a medrol dose pack was given.The patient had hives 2 days after the first medrol and the medrol pack was was doubled.
