Event Description
It was reported that a programmer had ''crashed'' following a sensing test for p waves on the implantable pulse generator (ipg).It was noted that after the first programmer crashed it was power cycled and re-interrogated the ipg successfully however it crashed in the same way a second time, immediately following p wave sensing test.It was also reported that a second programmer was used and the same error occurred on multiple attempts to interrogate the device.The second programmer successfully completed the remaining tests and finished the ipg check and subsequently crashed at the exact same point as the first programmer, after the sensing test.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
