Event Description

Medtronic received information regarding a navigation device being used during a functional endoscopic sinus surgery (fess).It was reported that alleged inaccuracies during surgery.The surgeon was having difficulty passing registration at first, once passed, surgeon mentioned that there is a 3mm superior in the scan compared to the probe's placement.Cc mentioned that adding touch point does not help with the inaccuracies.The procedure continued with the knowledge of inaccuracies.There was a surgical delay of less than one hour.There was no impact on the patient.
